Exciting Things Coming
Winter is finally over!
(well not so much here in the North East)
Winter is almost out of here! That means no more shoveling snow, but more importantly, it also means we are coming up on Air Show season! However, that doesn’t mean we have been idle here at Full Disc Aviation these past couple months. Quite the contrary; we are currently working on several new stories that should be out in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for the following stories!
El Centro Adventure
We had three members (James Woodard, Ryan Kelly & Ryan Tykosh) attend the famous Naval Air Facility El Centro in California. They arrived well before the show to see for themselves if the legend of El Centro was true. It is! They were also able to attend a nighttime photo-shoot with some of the static displays that were in town for the air show. This is one adventure you don't want to miss.
Art Nalls Interview
Our own James Woodard spent some time with Art Nalls of Nalls Aviation. You will see some images of his rarely seen TMk 8 two-seat Harrier (which he hopes to have in the air at some point during this show season), and read some great stories from Art about his famed Sea Harrier.
DOC & Friends
Our Nick Moore had the opportunity to spend some time with B-29 Superfortress “Doc” recently. Doc is just about complete with winter maintenance and should be flying again soon. Stay tuned for lots of coverage of Doc as her new hangar home is constructed and she returns to flight!
Air Show Stories
With one show behind us, the next is already fast approaching. From here to the end of the year we are slated to cover dozens of shows along with the detailing of some rare, incredible experiences you don’t want to miss. This is shaping up to be a great season so be sure to stay up to date with FDA!
