The organizers were able to bring in every Air Combat Command Demo team for an epic Heritage Flight, as well as the USAF Thunderbirds.

When James and I embarked on this project, never did we imagine that it would turn into a "photo essay". The result of countless visits to GAAM's restoration hangar were hundreds of photographs. We then began the task of selecting those photographs that would be used for the story. The issue was we realized that every photograph told a story. Every face photographed, was as much part of the SPAD as a wing or a bracket. This just couldn't be accomplished with a dozen Photographs. It was for this reason we chose to add these galleries dedicated to different chapters in the life of the SPAD..

While all our stories and shoots are dear to us, I think I can speak for James when I say... this one was EPIC.
